Commercial claims
We know that time is money and every hour that your business isn’t at full capacity makes a difference to your bottom line. That is why we provide our customers with fast, fair, friendly, and accurate claims service. The sooner we can settle your claim, the sooner you can get back to business!

Report a claim
Report claims as soon as they happen via telephone, fax, or e-mail! For urgent claims, please call our 24-hour claim reporting hotline at 800-228-6700, option 2. Fax new claims to 800-842-1482. Or you can e-mail new claim reports to newclaim@nationwide.com, and attach a copy of the loss report or First Report of Injury (for Workers Comp Claims). You can also report a new claim online through the customer portal (see next section for details). Learn more about reporting a claim .

Online access to your claims information
Nationwide Agribusiness customers can register for online access to their business' detailed claims information! Log on to report a claim, view the status of a claim, payments made, and more. The information is highly secure and requires a user name and password for access. If you are a current customer, you can register now. Or for more information, call 800-450-3157, option 1.

Commercial loss control
We want to keep you and your employees safe while helping you improve your bottom line. We do this by helping prevent losses, mitigating losses when they do occur, and working with you to improve your company’s overall safety environment and risk management practices.

Loss control services begin when our specialists get to know you and your business. We conduct an internal analysis of the business’ operations. Our specialists examine previous loss history, the hazards associated with the business, and loss control measures already in place. Then we can determine how to meet your needs through loss reduction services. Most of these services are provided at no additional cost to Nationwide Agribusiness customers. Our on-staff engineering and agronomy experts, along with our knowledgeable agents, set us apart from the competition. They will help you keep your values up-to-date, and go over any additions to your policy during annual reviews. As our customer, you will also receive fast, fair, friendly, and accurate claims service when accidents do happen. The sooner we can settle your claim, the sooner you can get back to business!

Report a farm or ranch claim
Accidents happen on the farm, and they don’t always happen during business hours. Whether the loss is small or serious, our experts are trained to handle your situation. You can report a claim to our representatives 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at 800-248-6283. We hope to offer online claim services to our farm and ranch customers in the future.

We know that the best way to avoid losses is to prevent them. We encourage our farm and ranch customers to maintain a safety attitude in all operations to help protect your assets, your family, and your employees. That’s why we offer loss control resources to our farm and ranch customers.
