our origins back through Farmland Mutual Insurance
Company, founded in 1909 by a group of Iowa farm and
cooperative leaders, our company provided agribusinesses
with dependable, affordable fire insurance. Over the
years, we’ve broadened our product offerings
to include an array of property and liability coverages.
We’ve also expanded our services, introducing
leading loss control detection and prevention programs.
In
1982, Farmland Insurance became a part of the Nationwide® family
of companies. Like Nationwide Insurance, Nationwide
Agribusiness has earned sponsorships from farm bureaus
and other agricultural organizations because of its
quality products and services and commitment to customers.
Today, the Nationwide companies are one of the largest
insurance and financial services providers in the
world, with operations across the globe.
